Global Investment Institute congratulates Balraj Sokhi on joining Hostplus, where he will be working as an Investment Analyst in the Private Markets and Investment Strategy role within the Hostplus investments team.

Balraj joins Hostplus from Lonsec Research where he spent 5+ years, most recently in the role Senior Investment Analyst where he undertook managed funds research. In this role he was responsible for the research and analysis of managed fund products across a variety of asset classes and sectors - Australian and Global equities, listed and unlisted property, infrastructure, fixed income, credit, multi asset, alternatives, managed accounts/model portfolios, ESG/SRI and structured products. Prior to that, Balraj served in a number of financial advisory and corporate banking roles at ANZ Bank.
Balraj has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, with a specialisation in Finance and Management.
