The Fixed Income & Alt. Credit Investment Forum focuses on a range of defensive, income generating and diversifying investment opportunities across public and private markets. Despite the higher rates settings that have driven a renewed interest in traditional fixed income, concerns remain about the ability of the core allocation of bonds to perform their traditional defensive role in portfolios in an inflationary, slow growth and high debt environment. As investors continue to question the relevance of the 60/40 mix in today’s volatile and uncertain environment, they are taking a proactive approach to managing risk and diversifying into a wider range of alternative assets in pursuit of uncorrelated sources of returns.
