Global Investment Institute congratulates Madeline Chelper on joining AustralianSuper in the role of Associate Portfolio Manager – Portfolio Construction & External Managers, FICC in Melbourne, Australia.
AustralianSuper is the largest Superannuation Fund in Australia and one of the largest pension funds globally, with ~AU$300 billion in assets under management and 3.26 million members as of 30 June 2023.
Madeline joins from Frontier Advisors where she most recently held the title of Senior Consultant and was a member of Frontier’s debt and currency team, with responsibility for clients within the superannuation sector.
Madeline originally joined Frontier in 2016 and later transferred to Frontier’s UK-based Global Investment Research Alliance partner, Lane Clark & Peacock. Madeline spent almost three years with the firm, providing consulting advice to UK-based defined contribution pension schemes and performing investment and manager research, before re-joining Frontier in October 2021.
Before Frontier, Madeline was a financial analyst at K2 Asset Management, after beginning her professional career in audit at KPMG Melbourne, focusing on clients in the consumer, industrial and financial services industries.
Madeline holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Finance (Investment Management) from Kaplan Professional and is a Chartered Accountant.
