Global Investment Institute congratulates Norman Zhang on joining Koda Capital in the role of Chief Investment Officer. A position he commenced in December 2023, located in Melbourne, Victoria. Norman will be taking over from Brigette Leckie, who will continue in her other role as Chief Economist at Koda.

Norman joins Koda from Legalsuper, an AU$5.4 billion superannuation fund for the legal community with more than 41,000 members, where he held the Chief Investment Officer position for close to four years. Prior to that, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Media Super between 2017 and 2020. He was an Investment Consultant with Frontier Advisors between 2012 and 2017, providing investment advice to asset owners as part of the Debt, Alternatives and Innovation Research team where he was responsible for idea generation and the coverage of key Australian and international managers across the fixed interest and credit spectrum. Previously during his tenure, Norman had also been a member of Frontier’s Equities and Real Assets research teams.
