GII congratulates Anna Weickart on her promotion to the newly created role Senior Manager, Equities Manager Research at CBUS. She is also the portfolio manager for CBUS’ climate change portfolio and will continue to have responsibility for managing this portfolio.
Anna joined CBUS In 2016. She is based in Sydney, Australia and until recently, she held the role Senior Portfolio Manager, Equities where she was responsible for CBUS’ portfolio of external Australian and international equity managers with a key part of her role being to conduct due diligence on new external managers, monitoring the performance of incumbent managers and benchmarking them against factors, including ESG. Another key area of focus for Anna is setting the overarching portfolio strategy for each sector, to ensure the relative investment objectives are met.
With over 20 years’ experience in manager research, portfolio construction and investment consulting, Anna has previously worked with Willis Towers Watson in both Australia and Germany and with Macquarie and ipac securities.
Anna is a member of GII’s Advisory Committee for our Equities Investment Forum and we look forward to continuing to have her input in informing and shaping our events. We wish her all the best in her new role and continued success to the CBUS team.
