GII congratulates Sue Wang on her promotion to Acting Head of Portfolio Management at Mercer Australia, replacing Ronan McCabe who will be relocating back to Ireland, having moved from Dublin to Sydney in 2019 to join Mercer.
In her new role, Sue will be focused on further integrating Mercer's leading strategic and manager research with best-in-class multi-manager investment management, having previously been responsible for leading the manager research function and managing Mercer’s Pacific Fixed Income Funds at the organisation.
Sue has been with the Mercer for 15 years and is based in their Sydney office. She is a member of Mercer’s Global Bond Boutique and is also the Chair of the Australian Ratings Review Committee. Sue also serves as an investment consultant, providing specialist fixed income advice. Furthermore, Sue is a member of GII’s Advisory Committee, assisting us in shaping the agenda for our Fixed Income & Defensive Assets Investment Forum taking place on Thursday, September 2022 in Melbourne CBD, Victoria.
