Global Investment Institute congratulates Susan Orr on joining Hostplus as the Head of Investment Research & Real Assets.
Hostplus is one of the largest superannuation funds in Australia with origins in the hospitality and tourism industries. It has 1.77+ million members, more than 308,000 employers and A$110 billion in funds under management.
Susan joins from JANA Investment Advisers, where she was the Head of Infrastructure Research for more than 12 years. Prior to that, Susan worked as a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure, Utilities, and Renewables Group at Macquarie Capital. Susan also has experience as an Economic Researcher at ACIL Tasman.
Susan graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Economics, and a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Statistics.
