GII congratulates Peter on his appointment as the Chief Investment Officer of BUSSQ Super.
BUSSQ is an industry super fund for the building, construction and civil industries, with AU$6 billion in assets under management.
Peter is an experienced, senior equities professional with broad asset class experience across listed, private and alternatives asset classes with a proven track record of managing large institutional portfolios for multiple stakeholders including defined benefit, insurance, defined contribution and post retirement portfolios.
Previously, Peter was a Portfolio Manager, Equities and ESG Integration at IOOF-OnePath, now Insignia Financial; the Head of Equities at NSW Treasury Corporation; Head of Equities at State Super; and, Head of Investments at ESSSuper.
Most recently, Peter was an Executive Director at Clearway Capital Solutions which provides advice and business development services to investment managers, financial product manufacturers and deal arrangers to help them engage with and raise capital from regional wholesale institutional and sophisticated investors and their consultants.
