Global Investment Institute congratulates Michael Mi on his promotion to Deputy Chief Investment Officer at NGS Super.

NGS Super is a leading industry super fund for education professionals in non-governmental and community organisations. The Fund manages A$14 billion in assets on behalf of its 115,000+ members.

Michael was promoted to the Deputy CIO role after having been the Head of Portfolio Construction and Quantitative Research at the Fund for over two years. He has been with NGS Super for seven years, having started as a Quantitative Analyst back in 2017.

Michael has a PhD in Finance from the University of Sydney, focusing on asset pricing and nonlinearity in the financial markets. He is also a CFA charterholder.
