Global Investment Institute congratulates Satoko Asai on joining Aware Super as a Senior Responsible Investment Analyst – Stewardship.
Aware Super is one of Australia’s largest profit-for-members super funds, currently managing more than A$170 billion (as at March 2024) in assets on behalf of its 1.1 million members.
Satoko joined Aware Super’s Responsible Investment team on 15 July 2024. As Senior Responsible Investment Analyst within the stewardship team, Satoko contributes to the development and implementation of the Aware Super Stewardship strategy which includes policy and advocacy, engagement and voting. Satoko reports to Louise Bradshaw, Manager Responsible Investments, Stewardship.

With over 17 years' experience working in the investment industry, Satoko commenced her career as an equity research analyst in Japan, moving to equity research sales and later, institutional relationship and sales director.
She joins Aware from Fidelity International and has previously worked at U Ethical and Schroders. Satoko has completed a Master of Engineering (Environmental & Ocean Engineering) degree from The University of Tokyo.
