Global Investment Institute congratulates Stuart Gray on joining NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp) in the role Senior Portfolio Manager Defensive Assets and Credit.
TCorp is the investment and financial management partner of the New South Wales government and its investment management arm manages AU$107 billion in assets on behalf of clients, as at 30 June 2023.
Stuart joins from Schroders Investment Management where he spent more than 11 years, most recently as a Fund Manager and Head of Credit Research, in Sydney, Australia. In this role he led the Australian credit research team in addition to having responsibility for security selection and portfolio construction for Australian investment grade debt securities across Schroders' portfolios. He was previously at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he held the position of senior portfolio manager in the Australian Fixed Income team. Stuart commenced his funds management career in 2000 with Deutsche Asset Management, who were acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management in 2007.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
