GII congratulates Andrew Bambrook on joining REST as the Head of Property.
Established in 1988, REST is amongst the largest superannuation funds in Australia by membership, with approximately 1.9 million members and AU$66 billion in assets under management.
Before joining REST, Andrew spent 6+ years with Telstra Super, a leading profit-to-member superannuation fund managing over AU$24 billion in funds for members, where he was the Head of Real Assets. In this role he was responsible for determining the strategy for property and infrastructure asset classes, as well as day-to-day management of the portfolio, across both internally and externally managed investments.
Previously, Andrew was an Associate Director in the Real Estate Advisory team at PwC, and an Investment Manager for Norges Bank Investment Management, based in New York.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Property & Construction from the University of Melbourne, a Masters of Business Administration from New York University, and is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.
