Global Investment Institute congratulates Allan Chen on his appointment as Head of Private Markets at Qantas Super.
Qantas Super is one of Australia’s largest corporate superannuation funds managing ~A$9 billion in assets on behalf of their 30,000 members.
Allan joined Qantas Super in 2015 as a Senior Investments Manager. He then held the position, Head of Sustainability and Impact, before being promoted to his current role as Head of Private Markets. In this role, Allan leads Qantas’ investments in private markets across real assets, private equity, venture capital and impact.
Prior to joining Qantas Super, Allan was an Associate, Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and before that he spent five years with PWC as an accountant and financial modelling manager, specialising in loans and banking.
Allan holds a B.Comm & B.Fin from the University of Adelaide.
