Global Investment Institute congratulates Con Michalakis on his appointment to the Chief Investment Officer role at Funds SA.
Funds SA is an Adelaide-based investment management partner for South Australian public sector superannuation funds and approved authorities, with A$44 billion in assets under management.
Con is a highly experienced CIO, having most recently held the position of Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Hostplus, a position he held for the last ~3 years. Prior to that, he spent close to 14 years as the Head of Investments of Statewide Super, prior to its merger with Hostplus in April 2022.
Con will commence in the CIO role at Funds SA in February 2025, with Matt Kempton continuing in the role of Acting CIO in the interim.
