Global Investment Institute congratulates Matthieu Raoux on his promotion to Portfolio Manager, External Investments and Partnerships at the sovereign wealth fund, NZ Super Fund. 

The Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation Fund is the Crown entity  managing funds in excess of NZ$75 billion (A$68 billion). The fund adopts the approach of a growth investor and hence is weighted towards growth assets.

In his current role, Matthieu will be responsible for alternative assets such as global macro, trend following and insurance-linked securities. Most recently, he was a Senior Investment Strategist, Asset Allocation, having commenced his tenure at NZ Super as an Analyst, Asset Allocation. Prior to joining NZ Super Matthieu was an Investment Analyst at ASB Bank focusing on the KiwiSaver scheme, employer superannuation and wealth solutions. Earlier in his career, Matthieu worked in both London and Paris at Russell Investments and BNP Paribas, respectively. 

Matthieu holds MSc in Finance from Imperial College Business School.
