Global Investment Institute congratulates John Iles on joining Colonial First State (CFS) in the role Executive Director – Head of Cash Management and Derivatives.
CFS is one of the largest retail super funds in Australia with AU$145 billion in assets under management and approximately 670,000 members.
Prior to joining CFS, John spent close to six years with AustralianSuper, most recently managing the equities implementation team, with the remit being to effectively manage the equity team’s desired exposures, including the risk mitigating and strategic overlays.
Previously, John worked in the Global Equity and Quant Team at UniSuper and before that, he held several roles in asset management companies in New Zealand and the UK.
John is a CFA charter holder and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Financial Information Systems from the University of Greenwich, London.
