Global Investment Institute congratulates Yile Chen on his promotion to the Chief Investment Officer role at Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited.
Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (Zurich) is the local arm of the Zurich Insurance Group Ltd, a global insurance and financial services company. Zurich have approximately A$9 billion in assets under management and are headquartered in Sydney.
Yile has been with Zurich for nearly six years, most recently serving as Deputy Chief Investment Officer. Throughout his tenure, he also held key positions, including Interim Chief Investment Officer and Head of Securities. Before joining Zurich, Yile’s previous roles included Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income and Currency at Macquarie Group, International Team Consultant at AMP Capital Investors and Derivatives Adviser at MF Global.
Yile is a CFA charterholder and holds a Master of Management, Finance and Financial Management Services from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics, Economics and Finance from UNSW Sydney.
