Global Investment Institute congratulates Brnic Van Wyk on his promotion to Principal Retirement Solutions at Australian Retirement Trust (ART).
ART is one of Australia’s largest super funds, formed through the merger of Sunsuper and QSuper. ART have more than A$330 billion in assets under management and over 2.4 million members.
Prior to his promotion, Brnic served as the Head of Asset Liability Management, leading the development of ART’s ALM framework, member data analysis, models and governance structures.
Before joining ART, Brnic spent over 12 years at QSuper, most recently in the role of Head of Asset/Liability Management, having commenced with the Fund in the role of Insurance Analyst. Brnic was previously a Principal Consultant at Alexander Forbes.
Brnic is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and the Institute of Actuaries (UK). He is a CIMA® certificant and serves on the Retirement Incomes Working Group of the Actuaries Institute as well as a Board member of the Pension Benefits and Social Security Section of the International Actuarial Association, the CIMA Society of Australia and the International Advisory Board of the EDHEC-Risk Institute (France).
Brnic holds a Master of Organisational Leadership from the Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce, Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria.
