Global Investment Institute congratulates Diana Santibanez on her appointment as Senior Sustainable Investment Analyst at Mercer Australia.
Mercer is an established investment multi-manager in Australia and globally, with a strong history of partnering with institutional asset owners, financial advisers, endowments, foundations, and family offices to help them achieve their investment goals. Mercer is a part of Marsh McLennan, the world’s leading professional services firm in risk, strategy and people.
Diana has more than 12 years of experience in investments. Before joining Mercer, Diana was a Senior Investment Analyst at Jana Investment Advisors (JANA), within their Sustainability team. She also sat on the Corporate Responsibility Committee at JANA. Earlier in her career, she held roles at UniSuper as an Investment Analyst and JBWere as a Senior PWM Analyst.
She began her career in Chile where she was a fund manager for Santander Asset Management. Diana managed three Chilean equity managed funds with a cumulative AUM of US$200 million spanning the sectors of consumer discretionary, consumer staples, pharmaceuticals and telecom among others.
Diana holds a BBA in Economics from the Universidad de Chile and a Master of Financial Management from the Universidad Adolfo Ibanez. She is passionate about empowering migrant women in Australia and is a Partner and Director of Strategic Partnerships at Professional Migrant Women (PMW).
