GII congratulates David Bluff on his appointment as the Head of Private Equity at the Future Fund.
The Future Fund is Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, investing and managing assets of more than AU$250 billion for the benefit of future generations of Australians.
David joins from The Carlyle Group, where he most recently held the role of Partner/Managing Director, in Sydney, Australia. He was with Carlyle for 13+ years and in that time he led and was actively involved in all of the transactions undertaken across Australia and New Zealand.
David will be reporting to Alicia Gregory, who is one of three chief investment officers at the Future Fund and who has been in the Acting Head of Private Equity role since 2021, when she was promoted to Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
Together with David’s appointment, Sarah Azzi has also joined the team as a Director, Private Equity. Sarah was previously an Investment Director at Anacacia Capital wehre she spent 6.5+ years.
